CAF A License Course reaches final stretch
The CAF A License Coaching Course that is being conducted by the Lesotho Football Association in collaboration with the continental football body, CAF, is set to reach its completion as 22 participating coaches edge closer to acquiring the second biggest coaching qualification in the continent.
The course has been anchored by two local CAF trained Instructors in Mr. Pule Khojane and Mr. Naleli Ts’ilo working alongside LeFA Coach Education Officer, Mr. Lehlohonolo Thotanyana, who stated that everything went according to plan from day one.
“We have now entered the third block of the course, which is the last. Everything went according to plan as well as the prescripts of CAF. We had external facilitators in Mr. Ted Msipa who worked with the coaches on management, Mr. Raleei Raleei, a biokinetics to discuss the physical fitness and exercise physiology as well as laws of the game by the LeFA Referees Instructor Mr. Khotso Makhetha,” Mr. Thotanyana said.
“In between the blocks, the coaches went on internships and were given assignments. We also had CAF inspectors who were with us for a week Mr. Joao Claudio De Almeida Gomes from Angola and Mr. Izak Coetzee from South Africa.”
All the 22 participating coaches will sit for the final examination early in January.
