He admitted that Zambia were on a different level, but his side learnt a lot from the loss.<\/p>\n
“We took a lot of positives from that game against Zambia despite it being a heavy defeat to us. I mean, we had to lift the players up going into the next game against Malawi,\u201d Nkhasi said.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously, Zambia is a big team and we cannot really compare ourselves against them, but we tried to compete especially in the first half, but I think in the second half we lost our structure.<\/p>\n
\u201cAgainst Malawi, we are expecting an open game. I think they are very good on the break; we have studied them and hopefully my players will come to the party. Maybe they are not as strong as Zambia.”<\/p>\n
The Mehalalitoe coach believes his side are still a work in progress and will benefit a lot from playing in competitions such as the regional tournament.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor us, we are still in the learning curve so to say. We will take it one game at the time, but we are looking for improvement from our previous game,\u201d added the Mehalalitoe mentor.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have to lift the girls up and try to forget about the game against Zambia. Our focus is now against Malawi for Saturday like I said, as fresh as they will be because it will be their first game at the tournament.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will see how it goes, but we will be ready for them. We are taking it one game at the time. We want to go as further as we can in this tournament,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
