Likuena midfielder Tumelo Makha has attributed his return to form to the recent national team camp, where he helped his country secure a place in the group phase of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 3-1 aggregate victory over Seychelles.<\/h3>\n

Prior to the national team camp for the back-to-back matches with Seychelles, Makha had lost his place in the Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) match day squad and had to watch from home as his team faced Hungry Lions and Venda Football Academy.<\/p>\n

However, the 23-year-old bounced back with a bang since coming back from national duty and scored his first goal for TTM coming from the bench to net the winner against SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy with my first goal for TTM and I believe it\u2019s the first of many to come for me,\u201d Makha stated.
\n\u201cThe recent national team camp played a big part in my revival because I have been in high spirits since coming back from national duty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Makha, who made his Likuena debut later last year, expressed his gratitude for showing him love after his goal eliminated SuperSport from the Nedbank Cup.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a good feeling to get the love from Basotho and see many of them celebrating with me. I\u2019m very grateful for the support and will continue to work hard to make them happy,\u201d Makha says.<\/p>\n

TTM have been drawn against Marumo Gallants in the semi-final of the tournament and the Likuena midfielder is adamant his side can go all the way to the final.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we have what it takes to go all the way to the final. We are all motivated to reach new heights with this club and it will be a dream come true for all of us to play in the final,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
