Mehalalitoe coach Pule Khojane will be looking for a winning start when his team takes on Eswatini in the opening match of Group B at the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women\u2019s Championship.<\/h3>\n

The two countries will go head-to-head at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Thursday with the match scheduled to kick off at 12H00.<\/p>\n

Pule admitted that the current Eswatini team are partly a closed book for\u00a0 them, but his team is mentally and physically ready to fight for the three points in their opening match.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not that much aware of what type of players they have, but by the look of things, it\u2019s a team made of young and experienced players like ours,\u201d Khojane stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn that case, I\u2019m expecting a balanced game. Our aim is to work very hard to get the three points out of them and not minding that much what they bring into the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Lesotho women’s team coach stated that the morale has been very high in their camp and is confident his troops will give their kingdom counterparts a run for their money.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe morale is good; the team spirit is fine. I think it\u2019s what we needed going into our first match of the tournament. That morale, that team spirit, it will be very key for us to win the match,\u201d the Lesotho coach said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me if players are not mentally and emotionally ready, there is nothing that can really happen, but from what I have seen, we are mentally ready,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mehalalitoe will be boosted by the late arrival of their skipper Boitumelo ‘Queen’ Rabale, who was only released by Mamelodi Sundowns after featuring in the 5-0 victory over Richmond United on Wednesday in the Hollywoodbest Super League.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
