Likuena players plying their trade outside the country endured mixed fortunes on their return to club football following the FIFA break where the Leslie Notsi coached side played South Africa and Rwanda respectively.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The Lesotho team played their fifth and sixth fixtures of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers where they went down 2-0 to Bafana Bafana and got a 1-1 draw against Rwanda for the sixth point of the campaign.<\/div>\n

Thabang Malane returned to club football in style winning the MTC Maris Cup in Namibia with African Stars in his first season playing his football in Namibia. His club is also in contention for the league title and has a chance of playing in the CAF Interclub competitions again.<\/div>\n

Chippa United defender Thabo Makhele also enjoyed a good weekend as he helped his side register a 2-1 victory over AmaZulu, where he played his 20th game from 21 games played by the Chilli Boys so far in the Betway Premiership.<\/div>\n

Makhele is Chippa’s player with most appearances this season alongside Cameroonian striker Bienvenu Eva Nga.<\/div>\n

Likuena captain Sekhoane Moerane, who was impressive in the two games against South Africa and Rwanda had to settle for a place on the bench as Orbit College suffered a 1-0 loss Highbury while Tswarelo Bereng was not in the match day squad.<\/div>\n
