The Lesotho Football Association President Lijane Nthunya has embarked on a visit to the District Football Association (DIFAs) to discuss his roadmap following his election late last year.<\/h2>\n

The visits to the DIFAs commenced with the trip to the northern part of the country, where the President and his delegation consisting of NEC Member T\u0161eliso Ramatla and Coaches Association Secretary, legendary Teele Nt\u0161onyana, met with the leadership of DIFA Leribe and DIFA Botha Bothe.<\/p>\n

The LeFA Chief on Tuesday headed to the southern part of the country, where he met with leadership of the District Football Associations of Mafeteng, Mohale’s Hoek and Quthing.<\/p>\n

During the visits, the LeFA President, once again reiterated his wish to see LeFA strike bilateral agreements with football powerhouses such as England, Germany and Spain to mention just a few in fostering growth opportunities for the beautiful game in Lesotho.<\/p>\n

Since taking office, new LeFA President stated that his administration has its eyes on initiatives that will boost Lesotho National teams\u2019 competitive levels as well as the domestic competitions.<\/p>\n

The LeFA Chief wish list includes mending relations with key stakeholders such as the government of Lesotho and its ministries who are role players in football development such as the Ministry of Sport, the Ministry of Education as well as the Local Government.<\/p>\n

The LeFA President is concerned with lack of sports infrastructure in the country and believes that each of the team district must have its Technical Centre like the ones in Maseru, Leribe and Mohale’s Hoek to help in football development programmes.<\/p>\n

The LeFA President would also love to see more legends of the game involved and hands on football activities as well as improving the competence within the administration of the game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
