LeFA Women’s Football Coordinator attends Capacity Building Workshop in Cairo

The Lesotho Football Association Women’s Football Coordinator Ms Joalane Tongoane left the country on Saturday to attend the CAF Women’s Football Capacity Building Workshop in Cairo, Egypt from February 26 to 29.

The Objective of the workshop is to empower women in football leadership positions by providing comprehensive training and resources.

It is designed to provide them with the skills, strategies, confidence, and connections they need to excel in their careers and make a greater impact in the football industry.

Tongoane expressed her gratitude to LeFA for the opportunity to participate in the seminar.

“I thank LeFA for granting me this opportunity to participate in this particular workshop to represent my country, which will definitely make me a better person for the Association,” Tongoane said.

“When I come back from the workshop, I will share all the information that I have gathered for the improvement and betterment of Women’s football standards in Lesotho because my aim is to see women football growing.”

The workshop is being attended by 48 participants from 48 African Countries.
