Lesotho outplay Eswatini over two matches in Junior teams friendly series

Lesotho junior boys national teams outplayed their Eswatini counterparts in a series of friendly matches played in Mbabane over the weekend.

The two-day series which commenced on Saturday started with the U-17 teams going head-to-head at Somhlolo Stadium and with the match ending in a 1-1 stalemate.

Bahlabani found the back of the net through Hlompho Phalatsi to get a draw in their opening match.

In the second game between the Under-20s, Lesotho registered a 2-1 victory courtesy of goals from Tholang Makuru and Ncholu Phalatsi.

The series concluded on Sunday, where the Lesotho U-17 ended the tour of Eswatini on a high note beating their counterparts 2-0 thanks to goals from Thuto Khetsi and Morena Masithela.

The last match of the day between the Lesotho U-20 against Eswatini U-20 ended in a one-all with Kefiloeg Nqoko having put Makoanyane XI ahead ING the first half but Eswatini finding the equalizing goal in the second half.

Bahlabani and Makoanyane XI returned home immediately after their Sunday games.
