The Lesotho Senior National team, Likuena, has been pitted against Seychelles in the 2027 TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations Preliminary Round.
The draw took place in Morocco on Tuesday, January 13th on the sidelines of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The two countries will face-off in a two-legged tie, where Seychelles will host the first leg while the return’s match will be hosted by Lesotho. The qualifiers are scheduled for March 25-31st .
The winner of the Preliminary round will advance to the group stage of the qualifiers, where they will join 42 nations that have already secured a place in the Group Stage of the 2027 edition of the tournament to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
