Lesotho star referee Souru Phatšoane is set to fly his country’s flag high in Morocco after being selected among 78 match Officials appointed to officiate at the TotalErnegies Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Morocco.
The Tšenola born will be officiating in his fourth Afcon in a row since making his debut at the 2019 edition of the prestigious continental tournament in Egypt.
Phatšoane inked his name in the history books of football in the continent, when he was appointed to officiate the final of the continental showpiece in 2021, where he worked alongside South African duo of now retired Victor Gomes and Zakhela Siwela.
He has gone on to officiate in the final of every major tournament in the continent including officiating two CAF Champions League finals.
The continental showpiece in Morocco will get underway on December 21 and conclude on January 18.
