A great welcome to this quarter’s LeFA newsletter to my dear football family. It’s been celebration galore as the curtain came down on the 2024/25 season and champions of the respective leagues being crowned.

I therefore wish to commence by congratulating Lioli, Kick4Life Women, Maroala and Members following their successful 2024/2025 season, where the four clubs were crowned champions of the respective leagues.

Lioli have been crowned the Vodacom Premier League Champions for the second successive year while Kick4Life Women made history during the 2024/2025 season winning their first Women Super League title.

Maroala and Members won the single automatic spots in the A Division North and South streams to secure promotion to the Premier League.

On behalf of the Lesotho Football Association, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on your incredible achievements of winning the 2024/2025 league titles. Your dedication, teamwork and restless pursuit of excellence have truly paid off, and this victory is a testament to your hard and passion for the game.

Throughout the season, you have displayed resilience, skills and unwavering determination, inspiring fans, and aspiring athletes alike. This triumph is not just a victory for the team but a moment of pride for your supporters and the entire community

May this success be just the beginning of even greater accomplishments in the future. Enjoy this well-earned celebration and know that we are all cheering for your continued growth and achievements.

I also congratulate all the winners of the 2024/2025 Vodacom Premier League Awards.
Congratulations to all the winners and nominated players who lost out on the awards-but it should be a motivation for them to double their efforts in the next season to be able to get to the podium as well.

It was a great night of celebration after a long season and credit goes to the Premier League and Vodacom making it an entertaining season from the start to the end.

We cannot forget the administrators, all the match officials, media, fans, all corporate partners. They all came to the party to make it a great spectacle and thank them all.

Lioli midfielder Sihle Maso was the big winner at the glittering ceremony, walking away with the two biggest Awards of the night in Player of the Season and Players Player of the Season Awards.

Motheo Mohapi who guided Lioli to their second successive Vodacom Premier League title, bagged the Coach of the Season Award and with his goalkeeper in the league winning Lioli side, William Huni, being named the Goalkeeper of the Season for the second Year in a row.

17-year-old Matlama Goalkeeper, Leluma Mofoka took home the Young Player of the Season Award while young Lioli defender, Mphale Mphalaole beat competition from Mohlomi Makhetha and Mokhele Molise to scoop the Defender of the Season Accolade.

The Midfielder of the Season Award went to Matlama midfielder Charlie Hlalele, who has revived his career in the Kingdom after going through a rough patch in South Africa, where he came through the ranks at Orlando Pirates before playing for the likes of Amazulu and Polokwane City.
