Lishoeshoe coach Tjamela Tjamela is expecting Zimbabwe to come out guns blazing when the two countries go head-to-head in the final fixture of Group C at the ongoing COSAFA Girls U17 Championship in Namibia.

Lesotho is at the summit of Group with three points after beating Botswana 1-0 in the opening match and need just a draw against Zimbabwe on Wednesday to advance to the semi-finals for the second successive year.
“Like I said before we left for the tournament, I think this is a group of death and it is very interesting because all the teams are very competitive and makes the tournament t very entertaining,” Tjamela said.
“I think Botswana beating Zimbabwe 3-0 after we beat them in the opening match made it very interesting for all of us. One would think it’s very easy because we now need just a point, but Zimbabwe is wounded and will want to make a statement as well.”
The Lishoeshoe coach wants his side to dig deep to finish the job against Zimbabwe and win the pool that he feels has been the group of death at this year’s edition of the tournament.
” Looking at Zimbabwe, they are a very good side which is wounded after losing their first match and will not want to go back home empty handed. I expect fireworks because they are a good side,” the Lishoeshoe coach stated.
“We are also not happy that we won by just a single goal. We are a team that love scoring goals, and I would say, we are a team looking to score goals that will help us win that match,” he said.
