Lesotho Football Association The Lesotho Football Association President Lijane Nthunya on Friday met with the Lesotho Senior Women’s National Team, Mehalalitoe to wish them well ahead of their departure to Polokwane, South Africa for COSAFA Women’s Championship.
Mehalalitoe headed to Polokwane on Sunday 15th ahead of their opening game against Angola on Wednesday 18th and will be followed by fixtures against Malawi and South Africa on the 21st and 24th respectively.
Addressing the team on Friday, the LeFA President told the Mehalalitoe delegation that the Association is fully behind them as they depart the country to go and hoist Lesotho’s flag high at the regional tournament, which will be held in Polokwane from February 18th to March 1st.
“We are fully behind you and please go and represent Lesotho well knowing that you are as good as all the team that will be playing in the Tournament”, the LeFA President said.
The LeFA President encouraged the girls to dig deep in all their games as the tournament will be a good platform for them to showcase their talent.
