LeFA Technical Team Attends FIFA Knowledge Exchange Workshop in Kigali

KIGALI, Rwanda – 12 May 2026 – A Lesotho Football Association delegation is in Kigali this week for the FIFA Technical Development Scheme (TDS) Technical Workshop on Knowledge Exchange, aimed at strengthening football development structures across Africa.

The three-day workshop, which runs from Tuesday 12 May to Friday 15 May 2026, brings together Technical Directors, Football Development Experts, and technical staff from FIFA Member Associations alongside FIFA officials.

Representing LeFA are:

  1. Mr. Caswell Moru – Technical Director
  2. Mr. Mohaila Letseka – TDS Lead
  3. Mr. Mojese Matamane – Youth & Grassroots Officer

The Knowledge Exchange sessions focus on sharing best practices in talent identification, coach education, and elite youth development. The goal is to equip Member Associations with practical tools and strategies to improve player pathways and strengthen national football ecosystems.

Participation in the TDS programme aligns with LeFA’s ongoing efforts to professionalise technical structures and raise standards from grassroots to elite levels. Insights from Kigali will feed directly into LeFA’s technical plans for youth and coach development in Lesotho.

The workshop concludes on 15 May 2026.
